May 2: It’s Time to Gather at the Lake
Set up or Shake Down in style! Mid-Day food break, organized kid’s games, Bury a Time Capsule, Keen Lake Trivia Challenge and make new friends, but keep the old at a communal campfire under the stars, music with DJ John, Dougherty Entertainment--a perfect beginning to the new season!

May 16: A School of Fish
Basic Fishing Skills with PA Certified Fish and Boat Instructor, Learn about the basic fish found in PA waters and basic fishing skills. Two sessions---limited to 15 kids per session. Register in advance at Keen Lake Office; Observe how fish are stocked in the lake, casting competition, Bobber Balance Run and Teen Time serving delicious Bait Shop Floats, Maj Jongg Meet up for Adults
May 22-25: Memorial Day Weekend
Horseshoe and Cornhole Tournaments, Fishing Derby, Karaoke Throw Down, Four Shooting Competition, Paper Plate Flags, Firecracker Run, DIY Red, White, and Blue Trail Mix, Live Music with Group du Jour, Ceramics, (Fish for Free 5/24).

Classic Carnivale Games—Ring Toss; Milk Jug Knockdown, Fish Bowl Toss, Pick a Pop, Kid’s Axe Throwing. Cotton Candy, Bounce House, Games of Change, Pie Throwing Booth, Face Painting, Granny Pants Challenge.

June 5-7: Survivor—Keen Lake Edition
Ultimate test of teamwork, strategy, and outdoor skills . Choose your tribe —Shelter Building, Puzzle Run, Scavenger Hunt, Capture the Flag, Trivia, and dance party under the stars. Music with DJ John, Dougherty Entertainment.
June 12-14: A Very Merry Unbirthday to You!
Mad Hatter hats, whimsical crafts, Cheshire Cats, and celebrating the fun in nothing in particular! It’s everyone’s unbirthday! Also celebrating the 175th birthday of Waymart. Pride and Patriotism Parade, Chicken BBQ, Block Party all in nearby Waymart.
June 20: Lake Legends: Father’s Day
Fishing Derby, Cornhole tournament, Dad’s Cannonball Contest, Water Balloon Fun, Decorate a Donut for Dad (and one for yourself), Dad Joke Contest (worst Dad Joke, Funniest Dad Joke—Audience Votes) Stache Bash Beach Party with music and games. Music with Encore DJs.
June 26-29: Keen Lake Luau
Pig Roast (advanced reservation required. Call Keen Lake Office at 570 488 6161) Hula Hoop Chain, Coconut Obstacle Course, Gras Skirt and Lei Station, Follow the Hula Leader, Limbo contests, hula dancing, & more. Music by Dougherty Entertainment.

August 27-31: Make Time for You
Canoe, Paddleboard, Hike or visit our book nook for a classic summer read. Create Create Fairy Light Jars or salt art. Book a Massage($), or enjoy a Horseback ride (stable is ½ mile from our grounds.) Flashlight Tag, Enjoy marshmallows roasted around a campfire (we’ll supply the marshmallows, you bring your own roasting sticks).

September 3-7: Labor Day

September 11-13: Barks & Recreation
Pet parade, pet photo booth, pet paw print art. Kids “Adopt a Pet (Stuffed animal)” station. Saturday Game night (fundraiser for the Dessin Animal Shelter.)
September 19-20: Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice
Delight in the cozy charm of autumn. Leaf-themed crafts, pumpkin decorating, pumpkin play doh, pumpkin seed treats. Drive-in (Golf Cart & Cardboard Kid’s Cars) Movie.
September 26-27: It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown Trunk or Treat
